Chapter 11
Means to You

For those National Energy & Gas Transmission (NEGT) filing entities (formerly known as PG&E NEG, PG&E ET, and PG&E ET subsidiaries) including USGenNE, NEGT made "first day filings" to ensure continuity as it works with the lenders during this restructuring. These filings, have been approved by the court, providing the company with the authorization to make payments to vendors and suppliers for goods and services provided after the filing date of July 8, 2003 and to continue business as usual for these operations.

Non-filing entities, which include Gas Transmission Northwest Corporation formerly known as PG&E Gas Transmission Northwest and NEGT National Energy Power Company formerly PG&E Generating, are not affected by these filings and are expected to continue as normal.
